Meet Julia...
Julia Sabery isn’t just a designer — she’s a curator of wearable art.
After studying Textile Design at Central Saint Martins, in London - Julia developed her own creative language: engineering custom fabrics by hand, sculpting ceramic forms, and building a world where craftsmanship and knitwear collide.
Because real beauty isn’t mass-produced. It’s built — layer by layer, stitch by stitch, by hand.
Every Julia Sabery piece is sculpted, snatched, and stitched to stun.
Where It All Began
Before there were stitches, there were petals.
Julia’s journey starts not with fabric, but with still life studies — delicate, deconstructed flower petals, carefully arranged to explore structure, form, and light. Every Julia Sabery piece begins as a sculpture — a study of nature’s architecture.

From Still Life to Sculpture
Petal ➔ Ceramic ➔ Woven Textile ➔ Garment
Julia’s early experiments began with deconstructing flower petals — studying how nature builds form and structure.
To deepen her exploration, she sculpted permanent ceramic still lifes, translating those fragile, fleeting natural shapes into physical artworks.
From petals to clay, from clay to cloth:
Julia engineered woven textiles using Shibori techniques and hand-dyed ikat blends, crafting three-dimensional structures that captured movement, light, and organic flow.
The blueprint
Through experimental weaving techniques — including Shibori pleating and hand-dyed ikat — Julia transformed these fragile studies into sculptural woven textiles.
Still too delicate to wear, they became the prototypes for something greater...

Sculptures You Can Wear
What began as experimental woven structures evolved into something even more powerful.
To preserve the sculptural textures permanently — and to bring movement and strength to every piece — Julia translated her original woven forms into engineered knitwear.
The result? Sculptural garments designed to contour, support, and move with the body — turning every wearer into a masterpiece in motion.
Every stitch is intention.
Every curve is curated.
Every texture is a study of movement and form.
Julia views each garment as a wearable sculpture — engineered from scratch, using her own custom-developed knitted structures.
The result? Pieces that snatch, sculpt, and move with your body — all while feeling effortless.

Some masterpieces don’t hang in galleries. They walk into the room.
